Spring is in the air!!

As I have been involved in Children's Worship the past two Sundays, it is very obvious that Spring is here! After celebrating the resurrection of our risen Lord last week with the kids on a wonderful spring morning and talking to them today about the beautiful day we had yesterday, they were eager to tell me all the wonderful things that they could now do now that the weather is nice. Riding bikes, jumping on tramps, helping mom/dad with washing the car, playing......sometimes you just want to be a kid again!!

Last week we celebrated with the Koezes with a great ham dinner and we glad that aunt Wilma was able to join us. This week the Koezes leave to spend some time with Megan and Bob in Portland. Pam and I talked about how hard it is to say good-bye, when we aren't even there yet. I think we both thought that our kids would stay in the area so we could do the things other moms and kids do - like lunch, going our for dinner, hanging out, come over for a cup of coffee.....but God has the agenda, and even if we don't always understand it, it is always comforting to know that he is the one in control.

As you can see by my writing, that I didn't take my camera out to take pictures......well, sometimes that is okay!

After dinner, Sarah, Pam, Aunt Wilma, and I played a new game called, Bananas - yeah, if you like scrabble you will like this game. Let's just say I didn't do too well!! As always when ever we play word games, we always talk about mom.......she was the ultimate word game player!! Let's just say I am sure she was smiling up in heaven at our conversation!!! Miss you mom!!

Well don't we feel guilty now for leaving you. :( But no worries we will be back again. :) Megan and I agreed that we missed her parents even more after they visited. We had such a great time with them, not to mention, Banana Grams rocked!!! But like you, I don't think I won once. That Koeze family is tough as nails when it comes to word games. Miss you all so much.

Love,
Bob & Megan
