My friend Adella and family

Adella is a good friend of mine. She is a single mom with three kids who is trying hard to be a good mom and put her life in order. Please pray that she will seek a relationship with Jesus and that she will come to understand how important this will be to her kids - having Jesus as their personal Saviour. I stopped by to see her last week and the boys are always so glad to see me. We play a spelling game together where I give them spelling words and they try to give me really hard words to spell. Although, I am only with them for about an hour -- we all have a good time. Junior, Josue, and Mileana are real special kids!!

No Baby, No Bride, No Flowers -- Nothing to take pictures of!

Ok, so I haven't written here in a week. There is nothing much to take pictures of. Hudson, the baby (as you can tell from Nate and Brooke's blog) is getting bigger every day. He hardly looks like the same baby I visited 10 days ago. Emily, the bride - her BIG day is coming very soon - we look forward to having her home in about 10 days - we have a shower planned for her - so I know I will have another great opportunity to take some great pictures. Flowers, well spring has arrived in Michigan and I am awaiting the coming of flowers, lilacs, and warm weather with great anticipation.

Nick was suppose to be on the TODAY show on Thursday. We got to see some teasers of his story coming up - Nick was also in the upcoming events of the show - we don't know what happened. So if you are one of the ones who is anxiously awaiting the premiere of "elementary male teachers" we have to be a little more patient.

It's hard to have an audience when I get my bath - I let them know I would like some privacy!

Visiting Hudson

We arrived in Texas about 4 hours late due to our plane coming in from New Jersey where the weather was awful. So......we had to wait another 4 hours to see our grandson. Nate and Brooke picked us up at the airport and they had Hudson with him! We were elated to finally meet him - he is so precious - he slept all the way home. We got to Nate and Brooke's about 12:30am and stayed up until at least 2:00am. Nate got me up at 6:00am so I could take over the morning feeding - which I loved! Hudson is a perfect little boy. We are enjoying him very much!

Fun in Sarasota!

Irene and I went to Siesta Key Beach with Emily and Ben - it was beautiful! We took a walk and took some pictures of each other. Later in the day Ben and Emily grilled up some steaks (or waved them over the fire :) - we ate good with redskin potatoes, corn on the cob, and key lime pie! We spent some time at the pool to catch some hot Florida rays (it sure was a lot better than some of the other hot flashes we experience from time to time. The weather was in the mid 80's everyday. We had a wonderful time with all of them.

Next week Thursday (April 12), Jack and I leave for Houston to see our precious new grandson, Hudson! How lucky can one person be??

It was an interesting ride home - we ran into snow in Tennessee and it was very slippery and we saw many accidents. We are now experiencing very cold weather here in Michigan )around 25 degrees! We are very thankful to be home safely and to be able to spend Easter with family celebrating our risen Lord!

New Port Richey Fun!

We spent time with Nick and Jenni in New Port Richey - We went to the beach, ate McMuffins for breakfast, went out for great dinners, and met up with Emily and Ben at Clearwater Beach and went on a pirate cruise!

Fun in Florida

My friend Irene traveled to Florida over my spring break. Here we are on the beautiful Siesta Key Beach.
