Ben volunteered to sit in the back of Nate and Brooke's Trailblazer so we could all make the trip in one car to breakfast in Galveston. The Mosquito Cafe was a cute little cafe with great food. We also could see some of the devastation that Hurricane Ike left in Galveston. Nate and Brooke and Emily and Ben were very fortunate that they received only minimal damage during the hurricane. Alot of the shops on the Strand were still not open because of the damage.

What a great treat....having dinner with my grandson, and my daughter and Ben!! Thank you so much for a fun night and a great dinner! I had to get going soon after dinner as Hudson and I had both had a long day.......but we are ready for another adventure tomorrow!!

Wow! Hudson loved the aquarium--it was really fun! And we had a great lunch and a long walk down the boardwalk! We saw fishermen, big boats, roller coasters, and lots of places to eat. We could also see how Hurricane Ike did some damage there, but it is really starting to look pretty with the flowers and everything! Hudson was very tired and was sleeping before we got out of the parking lot!! Thanks Uncle Tim for spending a fun day with us!!

After pizza, we went to Centennial Park and played on the playground.......

but, coming down sure is more fun!!!!
Hudson spent most of the night climbing, sliding, and running....he was really tired and ready for a bath when he got home. He did however have time to chat with mom and dad on the web cam for 15 minutes.....what a little chatterbox!!
We went to CiCi's for pizza, pasta, salad and great cinnamon rolls...
Hudson ate two pieces of pizza and a cinnamon roll....it was yummy!
Hudson loved the arcade with all the different rides, and watching all the other kids have a lot of fun, too!!
He drove the race car, and was very careful!!
