God's Promise

The clouds have been amazing this summer! Watching storms come in and the rain fall and the winds blow - sometimes kinda scary. Isn't it wonderful to know that we have a God who watches over us all the time and always keeps His promises.

Coming home tonight, the clouds looked amazing - riding in the car I couldn't get the shots I wanted, but the sky was threatening all around.......
when I got home ....the sky had a beautiful rainbow...
it had a beginning and arched across....
the whole sky! Thank you God for keeping your promise!!

Last day with Nate, Brooke and Hudson

We went to Rivertown Mall and Hudson got to ride the horse on the Carasol (merry-go-round, I always called it :)

I made Nate's favorite dinner before they left - don't usually have roast beef, mashed potatoes, corn on a Saturday night. Hudson liked his roast beef with ketchup!
Hudson is such a happy kid - I gave him his bath and put him down to sleep. He goes right to sleep! What a kid.......he also has wonderful parents!

Merri and John's Wedding

My friend, Merri got married on June 20. It was a wonderful ceremony - above their kids all prayed for them as they started their new life together! It was awesome!

What are you doing Hudson? Are you in Grandpa's garden? Do you know that that is a no-no? After playing in the dirt, Hudson was one dirty kids.......bath time was right around the corner!!

Dinner with Tim, Pam, and Aunt Wilma

We went out to dinner to the Walker Roadhouse - great and reasonable - after we had been to the cemetary together to remember Mom. It was a year on June 8 that mom went to heaven - we still miss her - it was also very nice to be all together for Megan's wedding. Thanks, Tim for coming to Michigan and I wish you lived closer so we could do dinner more often!

What a beautiful wedding - the day was perfect - the rain stayed away until we were packing up. The food was great, the band was great, the bride was beautiful, the groom was handsome, the day was hot, God was praised above all. Thanks to the Koezes for a great wedding and party!

I have a lot of pictures to post, but haven't had the best luck with my camera lately. I have had a great month - June - and now it is almost done. Bob and Megan's wedding was beautiful, Nick and Jenni, Nate/Brooke and Hudson, Emily and Ben were all home - so a lot of family time was happening. My brother drove in from New Orleans for the wedding. It was wonderful catching up with everyone. I hope to post more details in the next few days!
