A Day of Friendship in Holland!!

What a beautiful Saturday! Irene and I went to Art in the Park in Holland! There were many crafters....my Aunt Wilma was there selling her paintings. I got to see my cousin, Glenda also. So after walking around for an hour or two, of course we got hungry! And what do two good friends do when they get hungry....they go out for a light lunch. We went to the 8th Street Grill and shared a sandwich and some "Iced Tea"...

they were really refreshing......
the waitress took our picture......kinda blurry..... ...they went down so nice......
...everything seemed a little more blurry......
after lunch we were ready to do some more shopping in downtown Holland. I am very grateful for my friend, Irene. Please continue to pray for her.......life will never be the same for her after losing her son. She misses Joe so much but together we can be sad, we can cry together, we can sing together, we can laugh together, and though it all our friendship grows!!! I Love You RENE!!!

Pedicure and Mamma Mia

Emily and I spend an afternoon together while she was home. We went to get pedicures, and who was there........yea, Irene and her daughter, Rochelle. Yea, we had to wait an extra few minutes until they were done with their pedicures......
..but it was worth the wait. Emily decided to do a yellow pedicure, I think it was to match her top!! We followed up the pedicure with watching the movie.....
Mamma Mia! It was definitely a girl movie! Emily took us to see Mamma Mia when we visited her when she lived in New York on Broadway. It was nice to hear the ABBA music and spend some time together.

Happy hour with friends from Spectrum

Julie, Julie and Carole and I had dinner at Walker Roadhouse after work. You notice we still have our Spectrum badges on.....we just got new ones that day!!!

Out for breakfast with Jan and Beth

Beth and Jan eating breakfast at Sandy's splitting our veggie omlet........and who came to join us????
Nick of course! He was leaving after breakfast for Florida after spending a few days with us. Nick went to school with Beth's son, Matt and Jan's daughter, Erin. They were surprised to see him but it was great having a great guy join us for breakfast! Thank you to......
one of the guys at the next table for taking our picture together.

Nick's Visit

Nick took us out to eat at the Clover Bar for pizza. The jeep ride to Grand Haven was great and the weather turned out nice, we alsochecked out where Nick and Jenni used to live.
Nick and Jenni got us hooked on Clover Bar pizza - and it did not disappoint us!
Yep, we ate the whole pizza.......and we were so full that we decided......
to go to Temptations for ice cream? It was kind of a tradition when we went to visit Nick and Jenni that we would get ice cream after our pizza.
Yum! Yum....the ice cream was great as usual. And being such a great night we walked down the boardwalk to the pier! I was wonderful to spend time with Nick, although we missed Jenni alot!
